01About Arham Oil

Waste management solutions for the oil & gas industry.

Arham Oil Gas Products and Services Pvt. Ltd. was founded on 31 May 2013 by petroleum engineers from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, to bring cutting-edge technology to oil & gas exploration, production and refining companies.

We lead the shift to robotic, non-man entry cleaning of crude oil and hazardous-material storage tanks and lagoons — and we reprocess oily waste and sludge to recover the oil inside it. Bid farewell to confined-space entry risks.

What we stand for

  • Ensuring safety of people
  • Enhancing safety of the environment
  • Extracting value in the form of oil from sludge

Why choose Arham Oil

  • Customized products & services
  • Innovative secondary solid washing technique
  • Multiple-solutions approach for each problem
  • Successful robotic projects in tanks & lagoons
To introduce eco-friendly technology that quickly and economically disassembles sludge back into oil, water and sediments, most of which can be recycled. It is time to stop the spread of lagoons.

04Sludge-to-oil process

From hazardous sludge to recovered crude.

Our integrated process separates sludge into oil, water and sediments — on-site, with mobile units.

  1. 01

    Assess

    Site & sludge assessment

We identify the source and composition of the sludge — tank bottoms, skimmed oil, pigging, workover spills — and plan the right method.

    Tank-cleaning robot
  2. 02

    Remove

    Robotic, non-man entry removal

Hydraulic robots with jetting nozzles and augers mobilise the sludge and pump it out — no one enters the tank or lagoon.

Two-line hydraulic manifold on the crawler chassis
  3. 03

    Heat

    Low Steam Processing Unit

Hot steam lowers the sludge's viscosity, making it easier to process and helping break the oil–water emulsion.

  4. 04

    Treat

    Patented chemicals

Sludge Treat (ARSC31) for crude and refinery sludge, and Slop Treat (ARSC51) for drilling slop and mud.

    Recover

    Oil back into use

90–95% of the oil is recovered as crude for refining, and the remaining solids shrink to about 10–20% of the original sludge.

Robotic tank cleaning

3–7 days

Typical robotic cleaning time

Tanks back in service in days, not weeks

Robotic cleaning typically takes 3–7 days against 10–14 days manually. Robots work 24/7, and partial tank operations can continue during cleaning.

Sludge oil recovery

95%

Oil recovered from sludge

Recovering the oil others throw away

90–95% of the oil in sludge is recovered as crude oil — reused as refinery feedstock or as a final product, offsetting disposal costs.

Waste reduction

10–20%

Residual solids left

A fraction of the waste to dispose of

Separated solids are only about 10–20% of the original sludge, significantly cutting transport and landfill costs — and removing the environmental hazard.
